On Thursday 22 November, the National Electrical and Communications Association<\/a> (NECA) held its annual National Excellence Awards at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to announce that PEER Data & Communications Graduate: Luke Hentschke was successful in becoming Apprentice of the Year in the Communications category.<\/p>\n

Luke recently completed his apprenticeship with PEER and is now employed by Apex Energy Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Luke says \u201cIt has been a privilege to be recognised at a national level in an industry that I\u2019m so passionate about working in.\u201d<\/p>\n

PEER\u2019s Chief Executive Officer, Peter Nolan says: \u201cThis is the fourth consecutive year a PEER Apprentice has won this National Award.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s always exciting to see our apprentices recognised as leaders in the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLuke was a \u2018standout\u2019 apprentice, who consistently received outstanding site reports, due to his strong leadership qualities as an apprentice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extremely proud of Luke\u2019s achievements and look forward to watching him achieve his goals in becoming a Project Manager, Safety Advisor and a mentor of rising apprentices,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

PEER would like to thank all who have supported and mentored Luke throughout his apprenticeship journey, and congratulate Luke on this fantastic achievement!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
