The NAT10809 Course in Electrician – Minimum Australian Context Gap is the delivery and assessment of six core units designed to bridge the gap of an electrical qualification to the standards required of a UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician in Australia. This is most commonly utilised by overseas electricians seeking an Australian electrical licence once emigrated.<\/p>\n

Completing this qualification alone will not grant the learner a UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician. To achieve this qualification the learner must also complete the elective units and e-profiling requirements as per the training packaging requirements. Details on how to obtain these requirements can be found below.<\/p>\n

Only on successful completion of the total requirements, will the learner be eligible for a UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and will be able to apply for an unrestricted electrical licence allowing them to perform electrical work in Australia.<\/p>\n

The theory components of units NAT10809001 – NAT10809005 are delivered remotely, online. They are self-paced with a completion guideline of 89 hours depending on the learner\u2019s personal circumstances.<\/p>\n

The practical components of NAT10809001 – NAT10809005 along with both theory and practical components of NAT10809006 are delivered face to face over 80 hours at PEER in Adelaide.<\/p>\n

The learner will have direct contact with a PEER trainer for any concerns during normal business hours.<\/p>\n
